Reinventing Process Management, LLC (RPM) is a consulting firm that specializes in helping organizations use Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and related continuous improvement techniques and philosophies.  The goal is to create sustainable, lasting improvement as organizations embrace a culture of change and acquire the skills to generate and sustain that change.  We bring decades of experience gained in a wide array of industries working with teams in their language on three continents. Our work is guided by three core beliefs:

  • Change is a combination of both people and process: neither can be ignored.
  • Change is not a one-size-fits-most endeavor: success comes from meeting organizations where they are in their change journey.

Tony Swain

Tony Swain is a certified Master Black Belt with 20+ years’ experience in the fields of analysis and forecasting, leading diverse teams and process improvement.  As both an internal and outside consultant, he has worked with teams on three continents and helped organizations both in the commercial and government sectors.  Tony finds great reward in growing the next generation of change leaders.  He is fluent in French and conversant in Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.  Having lived for extended periods abroad, Tony is particularly attuned to cultural issues and their impact on the process of change. Process Improvement Experience

Tony has trained, mentored and coached over 1,000 Master Black Belts, Black Belts, Green Belts, Lean practitioners, project sponsors and leaders at all levels of organizations using various Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.  Through training and coaching support, he has assisted organizations in reducing waste and saving over $20 million while improving service to customers, patients and taxpayers.  These organizations have matured their Continuous Process Improvement implementations by following LSS strategies.  As a result, many have built the capability to perpetuate Lean Six Sigma methodologies and generate significant savings without the need for full-time consulting assistance.
